KTN Senior Political Affairs Reporter Duncan Khaembahas been arrested.
Khaemba was apprehended alongside cameraman David Otieno while covering protests in Kibera area in Nairobi that erupted following the declaration of President Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of 2017 presidential elections.
The journalist was arrested after police demanded to have a license for the bullet proof vest and helmet he was wearing.
The two were taken to the Kilimani Police Station.
After the incident, police officers blocked other journalists from covering the protests that started on Friday night.
